AP Payment Deadline is October 27

For payments made between 10/28/2023 - 2/23/2023 a $40 late fee will be added to the cost of each exam. You must see Mrs. Elerick is you pay after 10-27.

FRANCIS TUTTLE ACADEMY STUDENTS:  Any AP classes/exams taken at Francis Tuttle WILL NOT be paid for at EMHS, reach out to Francis Tuttle for more details on how to pay for exams of the classes you take on the Francis Tuttle campuses.   All other AP classes taken at EMHS will be paid for at EMHS.

  1. Pay for the Exam: To pay for items online, use a credit card, and log onto the parent payment portal (Edmond Intouch Receipting).  If the link does not work please copy and paste the link into your browser.  The login ID for InTouch is the student’s EPS student ID Number.  The password is the student’s last name beginning with the capital letter.   

Click on Items at Student’s School – Click on Testing.  Choose the number of exams you are taking by clicking Buy to the right of the AP Test fee (number test(s)).   Then Click on Checkout at the top right.  Once in Checkout – click Checkout Step 1: Additional Info, then use the drop-down arrow to choose your test(s).   Continue to the payment page by clicking Checkout Step 2: Payment. 

  1. Register for the exam in the student's MyAP account: Students will join the course in their MyAP Account using a code their teacher gave them. This will be done in the classroom by the student. Once the student is in the section on MyAP the will change the exam order from Undecided to YES. If after October 27 but before February 23 contact Mrs. Elerick after payment has been made she can change your exam order to yes.

Important:  There is a reduced fee for the exam for students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunches. 
The Free and Reduced Lunch applications must be completed annually, regardless of whether or not you eat at school. This information is used to qualify for other forms of assistance.
You may submit an Online Meal Application at the following website: frapps.horizonsolana.com
This can take a few days, so do this ASAP if you believe you qualify.

Late Exam Order/Payment Deadline:  February 23 ($40 late fee if paid after October 27) After you pay for a late exam, see Mrs. Elerick, A{ Coordinator to order the exam.  Paying for the exam does not order the test. 

Note: After the deadline, the students who are registered for the exam will have the test date under the class on your landing page in MyAP.

There are two practice tests for each AP test offered.
There are very basic study guides offered for each exam as well.
AP Biology and AP US History have flashcards available for studying.
Using your Chromebooks is preferred. You need to make sure you are signed in to you are using your School Google Account Profile.

What are AP exams used for?
AP exams assess your knowledge of AP course material and determine whether you are qualified to test out of similar introductory courses in college. A high score on an AP Test indicates that you are capable of working at the college level in the subject.

CLEP

Consider CLEP as an Additional College Credit Option for Students

CLEP® exams are a flexible college credit option that allows students to test out of introductory college courses and save time and money toward a degree. More than 2,900 colleges and universities award credit for CLEP, and students can take exams remotely or at more than 2,000 test centers year-round. There aren’t any class requirements for CLEP so students can test at any time.

The 2022 CLEP Official Study Guide contains exam descriptions, knowledge and skills requirements, and up to 100 sample questions for all 34 CLEP exams, as well as test-taking tips and strategies.

This can be done even after you graduate high school.

Freshman Year for Free! Free Online CLEP Courses by Modern States Education Alliance are designed to help students prepare for CLEP exams and earn college credit.   Modern States Education Alliance is paying the $89 test fee and scheduling fee for students who enroll in the courses and take the exams. The benefit for participating institutions is that this creates a free on-ramp to college that facilitates learning and earning credits.  modernstates.org
