Edmond Memorial High School has 16 National Merit Semifinalists! This is an amazing record!
To give you an idea of what 16 National Merit Semifinalists means for ONE school:
- Over 1.3 million juniors in over 21,000 high schools across the country entered the Nationa Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2022 PSAT last fall.
- Of these 1.3 million students, only 16,000 earned the National Merit Semifinalist ranking. Memorial High School has 16 of these 16,000 semifinalists from the 21,000 high schools.
- This nationwide pool of semifinalists represents less than 1% of all high school seniors.
