Hello EPS Parents,

According to the EPS Technology User Data Retention Policy, all student data stored in Google Drive will be removed at the end of each school year for all students in grades PK – 7th. EPS will keep student data in Google Drive for 4 years, based on the modified date, for all students in grades 8-12th.

All student H Drive data is deleted at the end of each school year

Current PK-7: deleted annually

2 years in active mailbox

Older than 2 years is deleted

Current 8-12: 4 year retention

 

Students who would like to keep their data may use these instructions to utilize Google Takeout.

 

Students leaving EPS – Google Takeout must be completed before enrollment ends.

Seniors – Google Takeout must be completed by June 23rd.

Current EPS Students – Google Takeout must be completed by June 30th.

 

No students should expect data older than the retention policy to be available as it could be deleted at any time.
