Since Monday this week, some Chromebooks have been experiencing issues with internet connectivity.  Technology is aware and working to identify and resolve the issue.

The problem is very sporadic affecting a subset of devices each time.  Devices affected one day may not be affected the next.  When this issue occurs, there is nothing that can be done by the student (or teacher) to resolve the issue.  The percentage of devices affected seems to be relatively small, but again….sporadic.
We have open tickets with multiple vendors who are helping to troubleshoot.  We will update you with additional information as soon as we know more.
